Modern Slavery Policy

Last revised: 24 June 2026

BookyDate.com (“BookyDate”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to acting ethically and with integrity, and to doing what we reasonably can to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our operations, our supply chain, or BookyDate.com and its related interfaces (the “Site”). This statement sets out the steps we take.

BookyDate is operated from Rua Senador Dantas 117, 20031-204 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This Policy complements our Anti-Trafficking and Anti-Exploitation Policy and our Terms. Nothing here is legal advice.

1. Our commitment

We have zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking. We expect the same standard from everyone who works for us or with us, including our staff, contractors, and suppliers, and from the people who use the Site.

2. What modern slavery means

Modern slavery is an umbrella term covering slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labor, and human trafficking. It involves one person depriving another of their liberty in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. It is a serious crime and a violation of fundamental human rights.

3. Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies to our own operations and staff, to the contractors and suppliers we work with, and to the way the Site may be used. Everyone has a responsibility to prevent, detect, and report modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain, or on the Site.

4. About our operations

BookyDate operates an online platform that allows adults to create profiles and connect with one another. We rely on a limited number of external service providers, such as hosting, payment processing, and email delivery, to run the Site. We do not operate manufacturing, agriculture, or other activities typically associated with high modern-slavery risk.

5. Related policies

This Policy works together with our Anti-Trafficking and Anti-Exploitation Policy, our Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our age- and identity-verification practices. Together these set out what we prohibit, how we verify that users are adults, and how we respond to abuse.

6. Risk assessment and due diligence

We assess the risk of modern slavery in our supply chain and on the Site. For suppliers, we favor reputable providers and expect them to comply with applicable law. On the Site, our main risk is misuse by users who might attempt to exploit others; we manage this through age and identity verification, content moderation, reporting tools, account action, and cooperation with the authorities.

7. What we expect from suppliers and contractors

We expect our suppliers and contractors to:

  • comply with all applicable laws on modern slavery, human trafficking, and labor rights;
  • not use any form of slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labor, or human trafficking;
  • ensure that their own workers are treated lawfully and with dignity, and are free to leave their employment;
  • take reasonable steps to address modern-slavery risks in their own supply chains; and
  • allow us, where appropriate, to verify compliance and to end the relationship if they fail to meet these standards.

8. Protections on the platform

Users may not use the Site to engage in or facilitate modern slavery. In particular, the following are prohibited:

  • forcing, coercing, deceiving, or pressuring any person into commercial sex or any other activity;
  • advertising, arranging, or profiting from the exploitation or forced labor of another person;
  • controlling, transporting, or harboring a person for the purpose of exploitation;
  • withholding a person's identity documents, earnings, or freedom of movement; or
  • assisting anyone who engages in any of the above.

9. Reporting concerns

If you become aware of modern slavery or human trafficking connected with our business, our supply chain, or the Site, please report it. You can email us at support@bookydate.com or use the in-product reporting tools, and you can find external hotlines and authorities on our Anti-Trafficking and Anti-Exploitation page. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police first.

10. Training and awareness

We work to ensure that the people responsible for running the Site understand the risks of modern slavery and how to recognize and respond to them, and we raise awareness among users through our policies and reporting tools.

11. Consequences of violations

A supplier or contractor who breaches this Policy may have their relationship with us suspended or terminated. A user who breaches it faces immediate removal of content, suspension or permanent termination of the account, and referral to the authorities. We may act without prior notice.

12. Review of this statement

We review this statement periodically to keep it accurate and effective, and we update it as our operations and risks change.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new revision date. Please review this page periodically.
