Anti-Trafficking and Anti-Exploitation Policy
BookyDate.com (“BookyDate”, “we”, “us”, “our”) has zero tolerance for human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and any form of coerced, non-consensual, or unlawful activity. BookyDate.com and its related interfaces (the “Site”) are for consenting adults only. This Policy explains what we prohibit, how we work to prevent abuse, how to report a concern, and where victims and survivors can get help.
BookyDate is operated from Rua Senador Dantas 117, 20031-204 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We cooperate with law enforcement and, where required or appropriate, report suspected exploitation to the competent authorities. Nothing in this Policy is legal advice, and following it does not replace contacting the police in an emergency.
1. Zero tolerance
We do not allow human trafficking, the sexual exploitation of any person, or the involvement of minors in any sexual context, anywhere on the Site. Content and accounts connected to such activity are removed, and the people responsible are reported to the authorities where the law requires or permits it.
2. What these terms mean
Human trafficking is the recruitment, transport, transfer, harboring, or control of a person through force, fraud, coercion, or abuse of a position of vulnerability, for the purpose of exploitation, including sexual exploitation or forced labor. Sexual exploitation includes causing or profiting from another person's sexual activity through coercion, deception, or abuse of power, as well as any sexual conduct involving a person under 18. These are crimes under Brazilian law and international standards, regardless of any claimed consent by a minor.
3. What is strictly prohibited
The following are never allowed on the Site:
- Human trafficking of any kind, including for sexual exploitation or forced labor.
- Any sexual activity, content, or solicitation involving a minor, meaning anyone under 18, including child sexual abuse material.
- Forcing, coercing, defrauding, deceiving, or pressuring any person into commercial sex or any other activity on the Site.
- Profiting from, advertising, arranging, or otherwise facilitating the exploitation of another person.
- Posting content that depicts a non-consenting person, or sharing intimate content without the consent of the person depicted.
- Recruiting, transporting, harboring, or controlling a person for exploitation, or assisting anyone who does.
4. Age and identity verification
The Site is restricted to adults aged 18 or older. Where required, we verify age and identity and keep the records that applicable law requires. We act on any indication that a user is, or is presenting as, a minor, including removing content and accounts and, where appropriate, reporting to the authorities.
5. How we work to prevent abuse
We use a combination of account controls, content moderation, user reporting tools, and cooperation with specialized organizations to detect and act on exploitation. We do not knowingly allow anyone to use the Site to advertise, arrange, or profit from trafficking or exploitation, and we act on credible reports.
6. How to report a concern on the Site
If you see content or behavior on the Site that may involve trafficking, exploitation, or a minor, report it to us immediately using the in-product reporting tools or by emailing support@bookydate.com. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact the police first.
7. Where to get help and report to authorities
You can also contact these services directly. In Brazil:
- Disque Direitos Humanos (Disque 100): dial 100 from anywhere in Brazil — free, anonymous, and available 24/7; also reachable on WhatsApp at +55 61 99611-0100. It receives reports of human trafficking, slave-like labor, and violence against children and adolescents.
- Ligue 180 (Central de Atendimento à Mulher): dial 180 for support and reporting related to violence against women, including trafficking, including from outside Brazil.
- SaferNet Brasil: report online human-rights crimes, including child sexual abuse material, anonymously at denuncie.org.br.
- Emergencies and federal police: in an emergency call 190; the Polícia Federal investigates human trafficking.
Internationally:
- United States National Human Trafficking Hotline: call 1-888-373-7888, text 233733, or chat at humantraffickinghotline.org — confidential, 24/7, in more than 200 languages.
- NCMEC CyberTipline, for child sexual exploitation: report at report.cybertip.org or call 1-800-843-5678.
If you are elsewhere, contact your local police or a recognized national hotline.
8. Cooperation with authorities
We preserve relevant evidence and respond to lawful requests from law enforcement. Where we become aware of apparent child sexual exploitation, we act to remove it and report it to the appropriate authorities and organizations, including, where applicable, the NCMEC CyberTipline.
9. Consequences of violations
Violations lead to immediate removal of the content, suspension or permanent termination of the account, loss of access, and referral to the authorities. We may take these steps without prior notice.
10. Support for victims and survivors
If you are a victim or survivor, your safety comes first. The services listed above can offer confidential help and connect you with support. We aim to handle reports with care and to avoid penalizing people who have themselves been exploited.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may revise this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new revision date. Please review this page periodically.
